Mindfulness meditation is a practice of engaging and exploring the innate healing potential of the body and mind through awareness of sitting posture, gentle movement, and the breath. The experience of sharing and practicing mindfulness meditation in community encourages a deeper sense of the present moment, reduces stress and anxiety, and helps us move toward renewal after the death of a loved one. Participants will be introduced to practical tools for incorporating mindfulness into everyday life.
