The Five Invitations:
Discovering What Death Can Teach Us About Living Fully
May 22, 2018 | 6:00 -7:00pm
Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607
Death has much to teach us about living fully. This class uses lessons gleaned from Frank Ostaseski’s book, “The Five Invitations.” As cofounder of the Zen Hospice Project, Frank Ostaseski has sat on the precipice of death with more than a thousand people. During this session Mark Philbrick will share how you can use these “five invitations” every day at work to become more fully present with yourself, your patients, and the families you serve.
We have many support groups offered throughout the year, including various series. Please visit our GriefCare Support Groups and Workshops page for more information.
VOLUNTEER INFORMATION SESSIONS
Volunteer Information Sessions are offered at various times throughout the year in locations throughout our multi-county service area. We recommend anyone who is interested in becoming a volunteer attend a one-hour session to learn more about the many ways to volunteer, visit our campus, tour the Hospice Home, and speak with Transitions LifeCare staff and current volunteers. Refreshments will be served. Please visit our Become a Volunteer page for more information.
