The Leon Levine Foundation Offers Matching Grant
Double Your Impact!
Donors to the 1979 Circle will increase the financial impact of their gift through a $100,000 matching grant from The Leon Levine Foundation.
The Leon Levine Foundation (“TLLF”) is providing Transitions LifeCare the opportunity for up to a $100,000 matching grant for donors who give to our 1979 Circle, annual donors who give $1,000 or more. The dollar-for-dollar match, designed to broaden the base of supporters at this level, will be awarded for donors who join the Circle for the first time, lapsed donors who last gave in 2020 or prior, and donors who increase their last annual gift to $1,000 or more. The match period will end on December 15, 2022.
Transitions LifeCare’s CEO Dr. Laura Patel knows firsthand the challenges associated with providing quality, compassionate care – to all ages, and especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. “We are seeing a national need for grief services as we all deal with the aftermath and continued challenges of the pandemic. There is growing recognition that care at home should be prioritized and is worthy of investment. We touch thousands of people every year at different stages of dealing with serious illness; caregivers struggling to meet the needs of their family; people who are grieving and seeking support; and children who have a life limiting illness.”
“We’re grateful to The Leon Levine Foundation for this unique matching grant opportunity,” continued Dr. Patel. “Our ability to build on the tremendous financial impact of our 1979 Circle every year is dependent on growing the number of donors and dollars raised. These funds allow us to fulfill our mission of caring for everyone who needs us, regardless of their financial status or ability. We could not provide our urgently needed services without the trust and investment from our community. Thank you for your continued support and belief that the care we provide is essential to the well-being of our community.”
