Camp Reflections is a camp for grieving children in elementary and middle school. It includes activities such as music, arts & crafts, and games. Grief-related activities are conducted in small and large group settings and are led by trained facilitators.
Camp Reflections participants will have the opportunity to…
- connect with other kids and families who have experienced the death of a loved one
- understand grief
- find safe, creative ways to express thoughts and feelings about their grief
- nurture memories
- build self-confidence and self-worth
- take time to play, laugh, cry, and feel a sense of normalcy
The camp made me realize I am not the only one going through grief. - Camper
