GriefCare for Children and Teens

Camp Reflections

Camp Reflections is a Saturday camp for grieving children and teens (ages 5-14 years). It will include activities such as music, arts & crafts and games. Grief related activities are conducted in small and large group settings and are led by trained facilitators.

Camp Reflections participants will have the opportunity to…

  • connect with other kids and families that have experienced a loss
  • better understand grief
  • find safe and creative ways to give voice to feelings and thoughts about their grief
  • nurture memories
  • build self-confidence and self-worth
  • take time to play, laugh, cry, and feel a sense of normalcy

The camp made me realize I am not the only one going through grief. – Camper
