Transitions LifeCare – GriefCare for Children & Teens – Camp

GriefCare for Children & Teens – Camp

Camp Reflections

Camp Reflections is a camp for grieving children in elementary and middle school. It includes activities such as music, arts & crafts, and games. Grief-related activities are conducted in small and large group settings and are led by trained facilitators.

Camp Reflections participants will have the opportunity to…

  • connect with other children and families who have experienced the death of a loved one
  • better understand grief
  • find safe and creative ways to express their thoughts and feelings
  • tell about their grief journey and share memories of their loved one(s)
  • feel a sense of normalcy by having fun

Any time I have the opportunity to see my child smile through grief is a success. – Parent
